Izzy + JT held their intimate ceremony at St. Francis of Assisi Church West Nyack NY on their originally intended date of June 27th, 2020. This sweet couple met with us in 2018 to book us for their 2020 wedding at Perona Farms. No one could have possibly known how the world would turn upside down in 2020. However, these two are the perfect example of how couples are persevering during this time. Their story is a friendly reminder that love is not cancelled!!

No matter what, they had firms plans to be married at St. Francis of Assisi Church West Nyack NY. Before having to change the date of the big wedding day, they wanted to keep things traditional and not see each other before going down the aisle. We are always ok with this as long as you’ve factored in enough time for all the portraits. But when they had the change of plans, they decided to do a first look before their intimate church ceremony. ⁠

There had been rain on and off all day. Not even kidding, the rain gave us the tiniest little window and held off entirely while they saw each other. It was like a little sign that said hey – this is gonna be alright. Just remember, everything is going to work out even if you have a brief hiccup in your plans.

 

Not only are we here to photograph you, but we’ll hold an umbrella over your head if it’s raining – and we’ll wear a mask for safety! lol!
