There is nothing like photographing a holiday family session, especially when you’re lucky enough to photograph your own family! We were so fortunate to make time to do a little holiday family session for Steve’s brother Kyle, his wife Marissa and their two boys Landon & Owen. Despite the BITTER cold, everyone powered through this session and it was so fun spending time with our little nephews. Emmerich Tree Farm is the perfect place for a holiday family session. They have it all; Christmas trees, open fields, a little pond area and mountain top views. We’d go back there again for a holiday session in a heartbeat.

It’s always so much fun playing with Landon & Owen, and being able to do these photoshoots with family throughout the years is so wonderful as we watch them grow. They were such good boys even though we know how cold they were. And hats off to Marissa for styling everyone so well! We scheduled just before the farm opened to the public for tree chopping, so we were really glad we had the place almost all to ourselves! This is one of our favorite family sessions to date.

‘Tis the season to work less and play more, but if we can do both at once then that’s the best of both worlds! We can’t wait to spend more time with our families for Chanukah and Christmas. Wishing everyone Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!
