Chris and Kendall helped us kick things off last Fall at their Cross Estate Gardens engagement session. This was the first session last year to really feel like Fall. Plus, the meadows were all overgrown at CEG (before they mowed them for the season).
Like many couples, they expressed being timid and camera shy. That didn’t last very long! We always gently remind our couples, you do NOT need to model for us or perfectly pose. Enjoy spending time together and good reactions/emotions will blossom from there. Chris and Kendall brought out the best in each other as they cozied up for this session.
4/22/22. Chris surprised Kendall with a weekend getaway in Upstate NY at a cabin Airbnb. He didn’t even wait, he proposed as soon as they got there!
“We met on a dating app, but didn’t meet in-person for 6 months. We became friends, then 2 years later started dating. We’ve been together almost 5 years. We got engaged in upstate New York – Chris surprised me with a weekend getaway in a little red barn that was converted into a cabin and proposed when we got there!”
We’re looking forward to their wedding day this October 2023 at the Ryland Inn. (where her parents were married!)
