The Deserted Village of Feltville is the perfect spot for an anniversary session, engagement session, wedding or any other photoshoot! And after 15 years of togetherness and five years of marriage, Rachel & Ryan reached out to us to photograph an anniversary session for them. We absolutely love this idea. Whether you’ve been married a year or longer, we think it’s a fantastic idea to do an anniversary session. It’s an opportunity to reconnect and relive the magic of the time you were engaged and unified your lives. In some ways, it can bring back the happy memories that center you in why you’re together in the first place. Just because you’ve already gotten married, doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to have another photoshoot together!
Ok, we honestly don’t know the answer to this question. But it’s kind of cool to think that it might be! It is one of our favorite places to shoot. It’s even featured on Weird NJ! There are some eerie abandoned buildings, but mostly there are kids and families around walking their dogs. As the sun begins to set, it does have a creepier feeling when you start peering into the windows. However, it honestly is just a hidden gem for photoshoots. At the end of the trail, Masker’s Barn can be found. Which is a great place for a wedding with a quaint outdoor ceremony spot. We even took photos under the archway! If you follow the trail in a more hidden direction, there is this amazing path that leads to an incredible field. Plan your session near sunset, and you’ll reach the field in time for golden hour.
We’re so glad Rachel & Ryan reached out to us for their anniversary session. We wish them many more years of happiness together!
