Deanna & Christian chose Historic Waterloo Village for their engagement session. We are used to shooting here in the Fall – Waterloo is just popular in the Fall because the natural scenery really showcases the changing foliage. But shooting here in the Spring was such awesome change of pace! We had no idea it was such a glorious location for the height of cherry blossom season!

These two were simply NATURALS in front of the camera, working with them was a breeze. Their 4 lb Yorkshire terrier Winston also tagged along for the session, and he was just TOO cute. We couldn’t take a bad photo of these two, and it was so obvious how in love they are!

About the couple & their wedding vision!

“We first met in high school as friends and started dating when we were seniors in high school. We found out we went to preschool together when we accidentally found a school picture.”

Deanna & Christian are planning for a wedding in the early fall of 2022. The vision is lots of greenery and eucalyptus. Girls in mauve, with lanterns and terrariums as decor.

They love the vibe at Lake Mohawk because they’re all about the scenery. The venue also offers “rustic elegance” unlike a traditional ballroom, but not a barn. The views of both the mountains + lake sold them. They love being outdoors and it’s close proximity to where they live, they knew it was the perfect venue.

Their terrier Winston just might make an appearance at the wedding, too. 🙂

These two are just so good at posing for the camera, we really can’t wait for their wedding day at Lake Mohawk Country Club in Sparta, NJ next September!
