In the elegant ambiance of The Madison Hotel in Morristown, New Jersey, Lindsey and Dylan celebrated their wedding in the crisp sunshine of March. The venue’s conservatory was adorned with florals, and the couple envisioned an atmosphere of elegance and romance. This perfectly complemented their unique style.
Lindsey’s boho floral Lillian West by Justin Alexander dress set the tone for the day, exuding understated grace, while her simple yet elegant hair and makeup added a touch of timeless charm. Embracing colors like olive green, terracotta, peach, and champagne, they created a palette that echoed the natural hues of March. This evoked a sense of warmth and sophistication. Additionally, the Bridesmaids wore olive green dresses by Azazie.
Dylan, opting for a sleek all-black ensemble by The Clothing Center, epitomized class, perfectly balancing Lindsey’s simple bohemian flair. With a larger wedding party in tow – eight bridesmaids and ten groomsmen – they anticipated a day filled with laughter, joy, and unforgettable moments.
Their vision for a timeless and elegant wedding led them to choose The Madison Hotel as their venue. From the natural light of the atrium to the charming old train cars and the exterior lawn, every corner of the venue held the promise of stunning photo opportunities. Although it turned out to be a beautiful day, we went inside of Rod’s Steakhouse before dinner service. Lindsey and Dylan had the entire place to themselves so we could do some cozy interior photos with dramatic lighting.
Preparations began on-site in the suites, which made the timeline a breeze. The ceremony and reception took place in the conservatory atrium, providing a seamless transition from vows to celebration. After a heartfelt first look, Lindsey and Dylan took advantage of the early golden hour just before the ceremony, embracing in the conservatory space bathed in the soft glow of the setting sun. With all the important photos finished before the ceremony, the bride & groom could be with guests at cocktail hour!
As the evening unfolded, the dance floor came alive with the infectious energy of family and friends, dancing the night away in celebration – under the stars in the open space of the atrium.
Reflecting on their journey together, Lindsey and Dylan shared the story of how they met – a chance encounter on a double date at Harvest Moon Brewery in New Brunswick back in 2016. Since that fateful day, their love has blossomed, culminating in a March wedding that was as beautiful and unique as their love story.
