The day before my birthday, Steve and I met with Anna and Bryan at Benmarl Winery, NY for their engagement session. We encouraged them to do a wine tasting to loosen them up for the shoot and they were into the idea! Before we knew it, we were all talking, laughing and having a great time. Bryan told us beforehand pictures are not his favorite thing, but I think he not-so-secretly had fun by the end! Benmarl Winery is full of wonderful surprises like sunflowers sprouting everywhere and breathtaking views overlooking the mountain.

A Secluded Wine Cellar & Birthday Cupcakes!

With a quick outfit change, they switched to a more romantic feel and got cozy on a picnic blanket among the grape vines. We finally finished with photos down in the wine cellar. Before we said our goodbyes, Anna & Bryan surprised me with cupcakes from Calandra’s Bakery! It was so impossibly sweet of them to think of me on my birthday. Can’t wait for A & B’s wedding at Il Tulipano next year!
