Sarah and Joey had the best golden hour light for their August engagement session at Skylands Manor. The Castle at Skylands, or NJBG, is one of our favorite places to shoot year-round! The Summer is great because of the greenery, lush gardens and amazing sunsets.

From the first consult call, we loved this couple’s story and how long they have been together. (We’re still in awe that they’ve been dating since the Summer going into High School, which has been 16 years!) After meeting in middle school Italian class, Joey asked Sarah out over AIM (ahh those were the days) and all these years later, here they are! They’ve already been legally married on October 23rd, 2021 – so now is their chance to do a brief vow renewal then finally have the party now that the pressure is off! 🙂

We are so excited to document their wedding this coming October 2023 at the Perona Farms Refinery!

“We met in 7th grade Italian class and have been together for 16 years! In our spare time we enjoy going to museums and geocaching. We also enjoy time to ourselves. I enjoy gardening, play the ukulele and I have been obsessed with guinea pigs since the age of 5. Joey is a third degree black belt. He also loves vinyl records, video games and comic books. We can easily binge watch the Office over and over and we just finished The Book of Boba Fett.”
