Scott & Chelsey are our bffs. And back in 2015, they trusted us to photograph their wedding day. It was the very first wedding we took on as Fox & Hare (not as freelance through other companies). We really have them to thank for jumpstarting our little business and paving the way for who we are as a company today.

With their anniversary coming up, we wanted to get them in front of our cameras again. We were all in Newport, Rhode Island and decided to do a little session for them by the Castle Hill Inn Lighthouse. It might have still been fairly cold by the water, but the views here in this little corner of New England are just perfect for a quick portrait session.

This was a really fun weekend filled with lobster rolls, wine, shops on Thames Street and walking the Cliff-Walk. And above all, hanging with friends after an insane year.

We say this all the time – but just because your wedding day is over doesn’t mean you can’t keep taking photos together as a couple! Celebrate every milestone, and remember why you fell in love in the first place. Cheers!
